It is with a great pleasure to announce that Ms. Raja Fdhila,  2016 treasurer of the IEEE WIE Tunisia AG for receiving a$750 travel grant to present her accepted research paper in the IEEE SMC 2016 in Budapest, Hungary.

– February 2011: Congratulations to Dr. Ilhem Kallel!

It is with a great pleasure to announce that Dr. Ilhem Kallel, founder and current Chairwomen of the IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Tunisia Section is the winner of the IEEE R8 Clementina Saduwa Award to the main R8 awards <link> for her support to women in the profession, for her work and for her professional and personal achievements by establishing a benchmark of engineering excellence.

– February 2011: Congratulations to Amel Ksibi!

It is with a great pleasure to announce that the paper of Amel Ksibi (Semi-Automatic Soft Collaborative Annotation for Semantic Video Indexing) was selected as finalist in order to participate to the R8 student paper contest during IEEE EUROCON Conference 2011 in Portugal. Only 5 papers were selected as finalists from 32 submitted papers.

The finalists will be invited and financially supported to present their papers at IEEE EUROCON 2011 Conference, April 25-27, 2011, Lisbon, Portugal. The papers will be published in EUROCON 2011 Conference Proceedings and included in IEEE Xplore Database. Three best finalists will get prizes from the IEEE Life Member Fund.

Good luck for next candidates of the 2011 Local Student Paper Contest !!! All IEEE students in ENIS SB that will complete their projects during 2011 (final year or master degree) can submit their papers next October 2011.

– November 2010: Congratulations to Sonda Bousnina!

Miss. Sonda Bousnina, Master Student in ENIS, won an IEEE mini-grant (500$) for her project, “Detection, Tracking and Communication between two Robots.” Congratulations to Sonda and and to the IEEE WIE Tunisia Affinity Group!!
