On the occasion of Tunisian women’s day: August 13, 2015. Boudour AMMAR chair of WIE Tunisia Affinity Group and Nouha Dziri chair of WIE Affinity group Student Branch ENIS were honored to be the guest with two powerful and successful Tunisian women at Sfax’s radio. Hayat Omri is a researcher in the field of organic chemistry. She holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry. In 2013 she won the gold medal of the Olympiads of young inventors and in 2015 she was elected as Honorary President of the French Federation of inventors. Mariem Ezzehi is a pilot and she conducted a plane and traveled with 100 women in order to celebrate the day of women.
Boudour Ammar and Nouha DZIRI had the occasion to promote IEEE WIE membership and talk about the benefits of joining the powerful community of IEEE women in engineering.
They also mentioned that IEEE WIE gives the opportunity to create communities that fuel innovation, facilitate knowledge sharing and provide support through highly interactive sessions designed to foster discussion and collaboration and most importantly that IEEE WIE advocate women in leadership roles in IEEE governance and career advancement for women in the profession.
