TSBC is a national event supported by IEEE where more than200 young engineering students and young professionals from all engineering schools in Tunisia meet together to discuss present and future engineering challenges, network and learn more about the IEEE.

In its 2014 edition, the TSBC was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS) in partnership with the IEEE WIE Tunisia AG, on December 22-23, 2014 in Sousse – Tunisia.

The purpose of this event is to help students gain further insight, enabling exchange of knowledge and skills. The plenary sessions and workshops in this congress will not only put their focus on research and technological developments, but also career issues and the importance of developing the so-called soft skills.

The program included technical activities as well as professional and educational activities presented by international and well known speakers. An IEEE WIE Workshop was presented by Simay Akar, MGA (Global) Women in Engineering Committee Member.
In this workshop Women in Engineering Affinity Group benefits were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas in interactive discussion groups and focus on new projects regarding WIE interest areas.
